Horoscope predicts a great year for pisces and taurus, so Brian and I are quite excited. We had lots of fun in 2009.
Highlights 2009
- fun trip to St. Pete Beach-checked out Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay Aquarium, 1/2 marathon in Clearwater
- Kate started on an insulin pump begrudgingly, but is quite pleased now
- Raised $1,100 for JDRF with Cure4Kate walk
- Brooke graduated from elementary school
- Kate goes to overnight camp at Stella Maris and loves it
- HOT week in Orlando-Sea World, Busch Gardens, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.
- NEW PUPPY DUPREE
- Brooke continues jumping, cantering, loving her horses
- Kate scores first goals in travel soccer, team goes undefeated for the season.
- Brooke starts Middle School(can you believe it?!?!) and LOVES it. Straight As on her report card.
- Brooke, Brian and Kate hit the slopes at Bristol often and ski black diamonds. Brooke rescues me in a ditch!
- Brian has new position as inclusion teacher at Charlotte, an improvement from self contained classroom.
- Kate and I climb 2 High Peaks in Adirondacks .
- 3 camping trips
Moments which could have been Better
Forgot poles for tent in Catskills-arrived in dark, rain, brand new puppy! Not fun, always remember the poles!!
Forgot Brooke's suitcase when we went to Orlando.
Kate sells 150 boxes of girl scout cookies-went to deliver, NO cookie form-convinced Dupree must have chewed the form, we deliver the cookies asking people what they ordered. Kate finds the form in the couch cushions weeks later. Yes, we did actually blame Dupree. See the photo in Nov 2009.
