How cute are these 3??We had fun doing some last minute pictures for Christmas card this year and had trouble deciding on which picture to use. Brooke has informed me she will take over all future Christmas cards which I will gladly give up. We all know creativity is not my strong suit.

Busy last few months...House is currently getting new siding, school, bball for Kate, orchestra, skiing, Simon school for me, Dale Carnegie classes for Brian.

Brooke is in 7th grade, got straight A's on her report card, does modified nordic ski, and was the section leader of the cellos for orchestra. She had her first ski meet last week and placed 9th out of 60 girls. She loves it but probably not as much as downhill. She's gone to Bristol twice thus far this year and is becoming quite the skiier.

Kate is in 5th grade, straight A's as well and plays bball, soccer, flute, and writes for the journalism club. Her latest is accolade was being the first kid in her class to read 40 books. Bring on the books!

I finished my first quarter at the Simon School, phew! It was not easy, 3 more to go. Fast forward to this time 2011 and I'll be done. Brian is super busy keeping up with all chicas activities.

Near miss....

Yowser... tree down in OUR yard! Brian, Brooke, Kate and Dupree lived to tell the tale of the maple crashing onto our home. Unfortunately, our power was down so none of us got to see the interview with Brian on News 10 Rochester.

Brooke and Kate complete first Triathalon

While Beth and I did a duathalon at Keuka Lake in the not so great weather early in June, Brooke and Kate along with friends McKensie and Emma competed in their first triathalon. We all had a great time and are thankful to our "crew" Chris and Brian who helped manage 6 bikes, transitioning from bike to run etc. Thanks to Galushas for a night on fun on Keuka Lake!

Cure4Kate 2010

Third year strong, Cure4Kate had a great day. Thanks to so many great friends and family we raised over $1000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. To all the people who joined us, those who couldn't but made a donation, and all of other friends that support us everyday, please know how much we appreciate your support and donation. Kate has a long life ahead of her-we hope and pray for a cure. THANK YOU!

GREAT time with Emma and Kate seeing Wicked. It was amazing!!! Girls loved it. Perhaps we'll have to make a trip to Broadway.

Happy Birthday to me!

Great advice I got one year ago from Liz McKinley-celebrate your birthday by taking the day off! So glad I did. Today was great-breakfast by Brooke, long coversation with mom and day while basking in the sun on the deck, hike at Mendon Ponds with the fam, shopping, seafood dinner by Bun, strawberry shortcake. My favorite gift-Dupree swimming all over Mendon Ponds. The crowd went wild!
